Iron Atlas
A downloadable atlas
The Iron Atlas is a collection of 100 customizable, hand-drawn maps designed to make the Ironlands feel bigger, wilder, and more grounded in the fiction—helping you see the world as an Ironlander would.
Use the Iron Atlas to envision what you experience and encounter as you travel the Ironlands. What do you see, smell, taste, hear, and feel? What’s the weather like? What kind of food or shelter can you expect to find? Who—or what—might you meet along the way?
Features
- Atlas instructions & advice...
- Nature oracles including weather, flora, and fauna...
- Fillable denizen, flora, & fauna matrices for each map...
- 100 printable maps for you to fill with discoveries, settlements, delves, and more...
- Custom map template, for boundless adventure in any setting...
Explore the Ironlands
The Ironlands are a vast, uncharted land full of mortal peril, strange beasts, and harsh weather. The average Ironlander is unlikely to envision the known world in its entirety. At first, your world is confined to the horizon around your steading. Distant locations are unknown to you, shrouded in mystery or legend and waiting to be discovered.
Fill in the Gaps
These maps are incomplete by design—they are meant to be sketched in and expanded, charted and marked up with discoveries, settlements, delves, and other points of interest. The more you explore, the more clearly your version of the Ironlands comes into focus!
Make Discoveries
Spark inspiration with new wilderness oracles, bringing the Ironlands to life with inclement weather, useful flora, and wild animals. Each map includes an oracle matrix for local Denizens (friends and foes), Flora (plants to forage), and Fauna (animals to encounter or hunt). Whenever you roll on a matrix and the result is blank, fill it in.
Conceived in three volumes, this omnibus presents the complete and definitive vision of the Iron Atlas.
This supplement was created by Jade Ravens for the Ironsworn RPG (by Shawn Tomkin). While the maps are based on the Ironlands setting, the atlas and oracles are system-agnostic and may be used with any fantasy RPG, or expanded and customized for other settings with the included blank map template.

Hi JadeRavens,
Having bought the volumes 1 and 2 ( 5.00 USD for each), I would have now to pay 10.05 USD to get the vol 3. That would cost me 25.05 USD for the whole atlas.
I can see the full price for the whole atlas is 15.00 USD...
Having supported your work during all development, is it fair that I should pay more than the new customer ?
Hope my english is understable, can you please tell me what's the deal for me ???
Thanks in advance.
Jopery
Hi Jopery,
Thanks for reaching out! I’ve received similar feedback from others on Discord, so I’m happy to explain how the pricing worked out. First I want to acknowledge that it seems unfair, and I apologize for the lack of clarity. This was my first time crowdfunding a project, I’ve learned a lot, and I appreciate your patience.
Originally, the atlas was conceived in three volumes since it was a significant time commitment (50+ hours of work per volume). There were going to be 4 releases at $5 each for early backers: volume 1, 2, 3, and the omnibus (the full atlas in a single volume). My original reason for waiting on the omnibus was the added complexity and content of renumbering all the pages and minimaps, adding the Oracle of Contents, and reformatting source files for inclusion. By the time I started work on volume 3, my workflow had improved and I realized I would be able to finish it before the end of the year. In my excitement, I decided to pivot and make the push, do the extra work, and release the full atlas (skipping volume 3 as a standalone release).
Because of the extra work and content involved in finishing the omnibus, I charged $10 for early backers (vol 3 + omnibus), since they were originally planned to be $5 each. However, as you pointed out, I didn’t realize at the time that meant my early supporters would end up contributing a few dollars more than latecomers. Others pointed this out to me, but by then it was too late to correct the error without making more of a mess.
Like I said, I’ve learned a lot from the process and will certainly have more foresight going forward — but I still want to make good in the meantime. As a volume 1 supporter, you should have received an email today with a discount code allowing you to purchase a copy of the Print on Demand version at cost, meaning I make no profit on the sale and the PDF version is included for free.
The Atlas wouldn’t exist without you, and I am sincerely grateful for your support and understanding. Please let me know if you run into any trouble with the discount code or have any further questions.
Warmly, Jade Ravens
Hi Jade,
Thank You for your reply.
I do not care about the Print on Demand as I can print and edit myself (that's why I ordered your first two volumes) and I will be charged 8.16 USD for sending fees as I live in France...
I'm disappointed. You should have proposed a 5.00 USD price for your early supporters of volume 1 AND 2..
It does not make me confident for my future support to projects online...
Maybe you can still find a way to fix this by poposing the omnibus for 5.00 USD to your early supporters...
Thanks for having replied.
Jopery
I’d be happy to work with you on this — please email support@jaderavens.com and I’ll see what I can do. Thanks, Jopery!
I absolutely love this, thanks for the winter sale!
I'm curious, whats outdated in the printer friendly version vs the current one? 1.0 vs 1.2
I think it’s mostly just the page links, if memory serves. No need for hyperlink navigation when you’re printing it off 🙂
Hi! I'm not seeing how to get the discount for having bought volumes 1 & 2.
Hi there! If you're logged in with the same account that owns volume 1 or 2 on itch (i.e. Bravo Lima Poppa 3), the discount is applied automatically.
Ah.
Ha.
I'm seeing a 33% off with a price of $10.05 which I'm going to assume is the correct discount.
When the mad money reloads tomorrow, I'm getting that.
Thank you very much!
You’re welcome!
Any discount for purchasers of vol 1 or 2?
Yes, the discount will be live as soon as it is released. Thanks!
great, i had a similar question as i have vol.2... does this omnibus contain all 3 planned volumes?
Yep! It’s the complete atlas of the Ironlands, all 100 maps.
